A key component of our initiative is the ABS Inclusion Toolkits. These toolkits are designed to provide museums and cultural institutions with practical resources to become more inclusive. From tactile exhibits to audio descriptions and sign language tours, these toolkits are revolutionizing how we experience art.
To spread awareness and educate, we're offering a series of crash courses throughout the month. These are designed for museum staff, volunteers, and anyone interested in learning about disability inclusion in the arts. Each October, Art Beyond Sight (ABS) collaborates with over 200 organizations worldwide to raise awareness of how arts and culture can promote the participation of people with visual and other disabilities in both local and global communities. This initiative seeks to highlight the crucial role that cultural institutions play in fostering an inclusive society.
